Ramsey engineers have developed a new chain connection system that saves time and
greatly reduces the chance of faulty chain connections. The new E-Z Link
connection uses a special grooved pin and snap ring that replaces traditional peened
connecting pins. While peened pin connections are widely used, they are time consuming
and can lead to connections that are either too loose or too tight. The E-Z Link
system eliminates these problems by providing a fast, exact, and lasting connection.
Beginning June 1, 2007 the New Ramsey E-Z Link connector will be provided, at
no additional cost, with all AllGuard Conveyor chains. It is also available upon request on
UltraLife, Standard, and Low Profile chains. |
